The founding Pastors Glen and Vicky Love are both gifted teachers that show how to apply the Word of God to help people live life to the fullest. They love encouraging people and bring a spirit of excellence to everything that they do. They have served the Lord in various aspects of ministry throughout their many years of marriage. God called them to start a new ministry and they answered the call by launching Life Renewal Church in 2013. |
Pastor Glen Love has the desire for people of all ages to experience all that God has for them. Through encouragement based on the Word of God, he seeks to kindle and re-kindle the fire of passion for God, hope for today and tomorrow, faith to overcome challenges, and a love for life in people. His ministry is based on edification particularly for families, leaders and seniors. One of his quotes: "The Christian walk is not meant to be a lonely experience, but one where we journey together and support each other along the way…after all it was the model Jesus put in place for the disciples." Pastor Glen has been preaching the Word of God for over 30 years. He comes from a family of pastors including his father, brother, uncle and two nephews. He was licensed and ordained in 1997 by the United Assemblies of Detroit and confirmed as an Associate Minister at Family Victory Fellowship in 2005. Pastor Glen has served in multiple capacities in ministry including Sunday school teacher, Sunday school superintendent, youth leader, church business manager and assistant pastor. He was a member of Family Victory Fellowship for 9 years, where he oversaw the seniors’ ministry, acted as an associate minister and taught in the Ambassador Bible Training School. Pastor Glen earned a doctorate degree in religious education, a master of theology degree from Destiny Christian University and a bachelor of arts in communications from the University of Detroit Mercy. In his secular profession, he is a sales account manager for a major pharmaceutical company. He has been married to Pastor Vicky since 1981 and is the father of two adult children.
Pastor Vicky Love is an anointed and powerful teacher of the Word who loves seeing how God changes lives. Her heart is to help hurting people and to bring change and wholeness to everyone she ministers to. She has a particular anointing in the areas of financial victory and emotional healing and has ministered at conferences and retreats nationwide. Her favorite scripture is Philippians 4:4-7, which she summarizes as, “Praise God, calm down, pray, be thankful and you will experience God’s perfect peace in every circumstance.” Pastor Vicky has been involved in various aspects of ministry for over 30 years. An award-winning writer, she is the author of two dynamic books, Stop Robbing Peter to Pay Paul, and Changing Your Money Mindset, both of which are used as financial stewardship textbooks by 34 bible schools worldwide. Pastor Vicky was licensed and ordained as a minister while serving for 16 years at Family Victory Fellowship (FVF) under the leadership of Pastor Larry Jordan. She developed curriculums and served as dean of the Ambassador Bible Training School at FVF for 11 years. She also served there on the altar ministry, praise team, children’s ministry, adult training, and as an associate minister. A successful entrepreneur, author, minister, Bible school teacher, wife and mother, Pastor Vicky’s first ministry is at home. She and her husband, Pastor Glen, have been married since 1981 and are the proud parents of two adult children and one adorable grand daughter! She earned a doctorate degree in religious education from Destiny Christian University, a M.B.A. degree in finance from Oakland University and a B.A. degree in communications from University of Detroit. |
