Easter is all about celebrating the greatest miracle in history – the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!  Many religious leaders have lived and died but only one rose from the dead.  Jesus Christ is alive and seated at the right hand of the Father praying for us.

As God in the flesh, only Jesus Christ was qualified to be that sacrificial lamb to die for the sins of the world. His resurrection proclaimed His victory over death, hell and the grave! He arose to give us the power to live abundant lives.

Life can sometimes present us with challenges, difficult times, unexpected losses and financial struggles. We want solutions to our problems, guidance and direction to live our best life. We long for a life of peace, freedom, hope and joy. Our new life in Christ gives us these blessings – a reconciled relationship with God, victory over demonic forces, peace of mind, forgiveness and joy within no matter the circumstances.

The message this Resurrection Sunday (Easter) is that we can find all the things we long for in Jesus Christ! The message of Easter is not just that Jesus rose from the dead after being crucified. The message is that he arose with power and authority so we can live a life of victory over our circumstances. He rose so we can rise!

On the road to the cross, Jesus experienced every emotion that we can experience. He dealt with depression, betrayal, false accusations, persecution, scoffing, grief, and rejection. Since Jesus has experienced every type of pain we can experience, we need to come boldly into His presence and be real with him, because Jesus knows how you feel! In His presence, we can exchange our distress for His peace and joy.

Hebrews 4:15-16 says, “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

Bring your kids on Easter as we will have a special treat for them to take home! Also, our LifeKids teachers will be ready for your little ones with a great teaching on the message of the Resurrection on their level. 

LifeKids is our awesome Children's Ministry curriculum for kids ages 2-12 years old.  It incorporates interactive teaching, video, worship, skits and games to make the learning experience exciting for the children.  Our goal is to challenge children to learn about God on their level, worship Him and serve Him in a fun and safe atmosphere.
